Axun & WhiteDogg: You maybe think, the first question is stupid, but why did you picked the music!
Jade Foxx: If you want the answer, a question is never stupid Smile
Ever since I was a teenager in middle school, I loved HipHop and the way it made me feel when I listened to it. I was writing poetry since I was a young girl and eventually I was influenced by my friends and acquaintances to turn my poetry into lyrics and put them to music. My music is the ultimate form of expression for how I feel or what I think.

You have many featurings on mixtapes. You could say: „Jade Foxx - Mixtapes Queen" and it’s true, becouse when I listen to any mixtape, I read the tracklist and I see your name.
I have been appearing on mixtapes since around 2001, and to date I have been on over 300 mixtapes worldwide (that I know of). I see this as a huge accomplishment for an unsigned/indie artist because I haven't come across too many artists in my position that can say they have achieved the same thing, especially females. Although I am not depending on my mixtape resume to get me signed, it definitely raises eyebrows when people see the list of mixtapes I have been on and they can tell I put in work. To me the most important benefit I have gained from mixtapes is my buzz - people know who I am and if not, they recognize the name "Jade Foxx". Everyone says their the king or queen of something so at this point in time, I don't claim any title, I just let my work speak for itself and keep it movin'!

Who is more important person from the people you recorded with, and why?
Everyone I have worked with is Unsigned and significant in their own respect, I consider them all important and I'm happy I got the opportunity to collaborate with them all.

You have 3 mixtapes in discography called "Let A Woman Handle This" (vol.1 , vol.2 and vol.3). The. Vol #3 is in sale for a few weeks. Could you tell us somethnig about this project?
No doubt, well volume 1 was the stepping stone, sort of my introduction mixtape, hosted by the Legendary DJ Showtime. Volume 2, "Every Man Needs A Mixtress!" was the first project I put together completely, from beginning to end. Double beat blends, no pauses, original songs and freeverses, just an all out creative project that has been getting really good reviews from the masses. Volume 3, "All OriginILL!" is showcasing the up & coming producers I have been working with, aside from my skills. It features various indie artists that I work with, and on this mixtape you will hear new original joints and remixes of earlier verses and/or songs with new original beats. I also put this project together, and it is hosted by NY's own DJ Technic. Just a little something to keep my fans anticipating the album. The new mixtape as well as the previous ones, are all available in my website store at [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]

People from Poland know you from „Kodex II”. Say about this cooperation. How did it happen.
This project was a blessing and I am so happy I was a part of it. I was contacted by Polish production team LA & Magiera, I don't even remember how they found me online but LA sent me some beats to check out and I was in love instantly. His style of beats was along the lines of Premo, that head-knocking-good ol-make you feel warm inside-HIPHOP! So I got the idea for the song's concept and I laced it, they dazzled it up a little and we dropped it, it was included in the "KodexII Proces" and I started to gain a buzz among the Polish HipHop community because people were loving the song. The joint was done in 2004 but I still promote it and spread it as if it was a new song, people still love it from the first time they hear it, and alot of deejays have inquired about Wax for this song because they were wanting to spin it. I hope to be involved in more Polish HipHop projects, and LA or Magiera, if either of you are reading this please get in touch with me right away so we can continue where we left off!!!!

Have you heard any polish hip hop? Any tracks from Poland? What do you think about it?
Yea I have heard a few joints from Polish HipHop artists and I was feeling their vibes. Talent is talent, if you got skills it don't matter what language you speak. The beats were bangin' and the artists sounded really good on the tracks I heard. HipHop is an international culture, we gotta show love to all our neighbors doing their thing!

Which artist would you like to cooperate with, in the future?
I hope to eventually work with Nas, KRS-ONE, Mos Def, Kanye, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Outkast, CeeLo, and actually a whole bunch of artists. Also on the production side I'm definitely hoping to work with Premo, Hi Tek, Alchemist, Dr. Dre, even Lil' John, and a whole lot more.

Have these artists inspired you?
All of these artists have inspired me in some way and it would be an honor to collaborate with any of them. I respect their craft & the work they have put in, their contributions to the game have helped mold the artist y'all know as Jade Foxx.

Your debut album currently is in the works. Maybe you could say something about this project?
This project is going to blow peoples' minds. It has been in the works for a long time but the anticipation has been building up and when people hear what they have been waiting on, they are gonna say it was worth the wait. Aside from some of the dopest up & coming producers who have contributed to the album, the substance of this project is almost unheard of at this day in age. I am gonna drop a classic complete album that will inspire & enlighten, touching on subjects that people around the world can relate to and appreciate, whether you from the suburbs or the hood. Some may call it "conscious" but I call it "good music". It has a little bit of everything, stay tuned!

You are hard working – album recording, concerts and you have authoring broadcast in HotCityRadio.com . How long do you do this radio program?
"Tha Foxx Filez" is on hold right now but it will be back soon. I was doing the show for about 6 months, hosting & producing it myself and it was on every week on [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Blazin' the flyest hiphop and r&b on the net, for music lovers across the globe. During the months I was doing the show I played alot of new music, and got the chance to interview artists such as Crooked I, Grafh, & Archie Eversole. This was just something extra I did aside from my music, I loved doing it and got some good experience. On a side note, I also record & engineer 95% of the music I release. I have a recording set-up at home and I have been doing my own stuff since 2002. All of the work I put in, I see as paying dues. I don't expect anything to fall into my lap and I've always been taught to work hard for something you want, that's all I know how to do. The work I put in can only help me in the big picture, the show has been a part of that.

What music do you listen to in your home? Do you listen to your own music maybe?
Of course I bump my own music but not all the time, only when I need to hear how the mix came out or just feel like hearing myself. I love to listen to R&B music as well as many genres including Classical, Jazz, Neo-soul, even some Rock. All music has influenced hiphop and I don't think people should be closed-minded when it comes to music. I still bump alot of HipHop CDs from the 90's too.

Say only about your future prospects.
Nobody knows what the future holds but one thing is for certain - I will continue to make good music. Even if its from behind the boards or whatever, if I am part of it I will do my part to make it official. I plan to keep droppin mixtapes at least once a year, and keep putting in work consistently. Check for the album dropping real soon, and look out because I might be in your town soon!

Last word to forum members or greetings…

Ale mieliście komentować dokonanie Jade Foxx, a nie mój profil na myspace.
